The Carolina Connection is located in the western mountains
of NC. Brevard is about 30 miles south west of Asheville. Transylvania county is the home of the White Squirrel and known as the "Land of Water Falls". Many tourists visit Brevard during the year and especially during the autumn leaf season.

Our store is found in the middle of town and has a very relaxed and congenial atmosphere in concert with the town. While the web site is dedicated to furniture, the store itself is more complete and carries a full line of home decor items: for example; we stock lamps, pictures, wall hangers, candles, garden ornaments and many other accessory pieces. The store, The Carolina Connection, was founded in Davie, Florida in 1979 and sold American Antique furniture. Restoring these antiques was a good education in how furniture should be constructed and finished to last.. In 1991 we moved to North Carolina and opened a Country Furniture store in the town of Brevard. In 1998 we moved around the corner to our present location, 6 S. Broad street, in order to enlarge our space and be able to display a wider selection of our merchandise.
